Caring Less is an up-and-coming indie band hailing from Philadelphia. With a unique blend of dreamy pop melodies, introspective lyrics, and energetic live performances, they have been captivating audiences and gaining a loyal following in the local music scene. Their music is inspired by a wide range of influences, from indie pop and rock to shoegaze and post-punk.
Sara Johnson ~ Vocals
Sara can’t even remember when she started playing guitar and has since been writing and performing under the name Stone Cold Grace. She is a poetic singer-songwriter and has been most recently under the tutelage of Olivia Barton. On warm days you can find her running around South Street.
Nathan Garfield ~ Guitar
Nathan has been a musician for almost as long as he’s been alive. After starting on drums and percussion in school, Nathan taught himself guitar at age 16. He’s been riffing ever since, contributing to music projects from folk to electronic and dance. Nathan lives in South Philly and hates parking.
Ryan Acito ~ Bass Guitar
Ryan has dreamt of making rock music since he was given his first electric guitar at age 11. Through years of playing any instruments he could get his hands on, he has developed into an articulate musician with a penchant for fusing genres. If you see him at a show, ask him about his beloved cat Cinnamon.
Nicholas Kreh ~ Drums
Nicholas is the beating heart of Caring Less and always puts on a show from the backline. A native Jersey boy, he's been doing percussion and drumming since grade school and is known to croon the occasional Sinatra tune when given the chance. He can be easily bribed with a pizza slice or a PBR.
Caring Less's live performances are known for their energy and passion. They have played recently at Kung Fu Necktie, Silk City and West Philly's famous Porchfest and have shared the stage with The Velveteers and My Kid Brother. Their live shows feature a mix of their original songs and covers of their favorite artists.
